Creating with my new stamp

I decided to go to town today and
visit Michael's and Hobby Lobby. :)
I love Fun-shopping!!!

I saw a stamp that I just thought was too
adorable not to buy.

So I welcomed her home
by creating …

I colored my image with SU watercolor wonder crayons,
then used a blender pen for watercoloring.
I also got a new Martha Stewart wide border punch
today that I used on this.

Party Animals For Jasmine

Teapot Tuesday Challenge

Since it has been so long since I really
enjoyed playing in my stamp room,
I've enjoyed using things that have just been
sitting unused. The benefit of not
being creative is that when you come back
to create, EVERYTHING is new again! :)

was a fun one for Jasmine.

Fun animals need fun colors and patterns, right?!

I used American Crafts DP for most of this card.
I really enjoyed the fun colors and patterns
working together. I covered the pink
DP in versa mark, and embossed it with
iridescent ice EP. The sentiment is hand-
written in SU's melon mambo onto
SU whisper white, and also embossed it with iridescent
ice EP. Both layers were cut out
using Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Twenty-Three
die set. I used a variety of stickler to
dress our fun-loving animals up for their party.
The elephant is wearing a skirt made from SU's
scallop circle and circle punches, as well as her new
pearl earring.
The animals as well as the sentiment
are popped up with 3D foam dots.

I hope our party animals can bring
a smile to Jasmine's face.

Snow Challenges

Two of this week's SCS challenges
were all about snow.

snowflakes on your card.

This card is also for the One-Layer Simplicity
 Challenge for January

I really love how the simplicity of this
card turned out!
I used SU whisper white card stock.
The snowflake is embossed using the
Cuttlebug Ice Crystal folder.
I went over the impression with the versa marker,
them embossed it with SU iridescent ice EP.
The sentiment is from SU's Warmest Regards,
stamped in encore silver.
I finished it off with an SU ribbon I love.

was also a snow theme.

For this card, I stamped the sentiment/image
from the SU Big On Christmas set in
versamark and SU night of navy, embossing it
with clear EP onto SU whisper white CS.
I stamped the snowflakes from SU's
Christmas Punch set in SU bordering blue
onto SU bashful blue CS.
I also used an SU night of navy panel,
accented with snowflake eyelets.
My card base is SU bordering blue.

Bossom Buddies Challenge

I jumped in on the Teapot Tuesday Challenge
for this week on SCS.
This is such an inspiring story.

Basically, we were to make a card for
"bossom buddies."

Here is what I came up with.

The main image was made using
SU's 1 3/8" circle punch, SU's scallop
circle punch, and SU's word window punch.
The letters were stamped with SU's alphabets set and
punched out with SU's1/4" circle punch.

I printed the sentiment on
the computer for the inside of the card.
